The largest group is Technology, which has the overall goal of running Yara's research and development activities. This means developing the products and developing existing and new production processes. The Technology Center serves all business units in Yara with technology expertise.
Through innovation and R&D projects, Yara Technology Center is a key contributor in business development and support for Yara's long-term strategy.The unit is mainly located in Herøya Research Park with approx. 100 employees, and it also has branches in Sluiskil in the Netherlands and in Brussels in Belgium.
